The excellent Arc browser that’s been impressing macOS and iOS users over the past couple of years is finally making its way to Windows today. Arc is designed to change the way you use a browser in many fundamental ways, with a collapsible sidebar that combines vertical tabs and bookmarks into an app switcher-like experience, a command bar for navigation, and useful tools to help you browse the web.

The company behind Arc, aptly named The Browser Company, is betting on its browser being different enough to entice Windows users away from Chrome and Edge. “Arc really is just calming and keeps you organized,” says Hursh Agrawal, co-founder of The Browser Company, in an interview with The Verge. “It helps you handle your tasks during the day...

Gray Zone Warfare tops Steam's best sellers partly thanks to disgruntled Tarkov players: 'at least it doesn't cost 250 dollars'

After a rather tumultuous week for the Escape From Tarkov community, where developers Battlestate Games managed to wipe out years of goodwill in one fell swoop, a new game has rocked up, and it's looking to swipe some angry fans.

The main problem arose from Battlestate releasing a new DLC, for which they charged extra even for players who had already bought the $150 Edge of Darkness (EoD) Edition, which was meant to cover all future DLCs. After a confusing debacle, Battlestate finally reneged on EoD owners having to pay extra for the DLC, but it still admitted that there isn't the server capacity to accommodate everyone.

In the wake of all of this a new contender entered the playing field: Gray Zone Warfare is a rival extraction shooter with a similar unforgiving nature contrasted with a tropical setting and a less specific military contractor vibe. It launched in early access today, and so far, it has seen some impressive numbers.

Gray Zone Warfare is currently sitting at the top of Steam's best sellers, beating the newly released city builder Manor Lords and the ever present CS2. But unfortunately that hasn't translated to user reviews very well: It has a mostly negative review score on its Steam page, sitting at 33% at time of writing. While some of the top comments are slating Tarkov, many more explain some fundamental problems with this FPS.

The top review, with over 1,000 people finding it helpful, simply says, "at least it doesn't cost 250 dollars." There are a couple more touching on Tarkov's recent monetisation problems, but these are no longer the majority.

Many more are reporting that the game's performance is pretty awful. Even with everything at minimum one comment says that it's "barely running 60fps," and that's with a 3080 Ti. Another comment rebukes the comparison to Tarkov, saying, "Gray Zone Warfare is like No Man's Sky 1.0 on PS4 compared to Tarkov." Most players just say that everything is clunky and the movement feels slow; you can't even sprint and strafe at the same time. Although Gray Zone Warfare is in early access so things may not be perfect straight away.

Tarkov has certainly had a rough time recently, and for good reason, but even so it doesn't look like all that community outrage will transfer to players for Gray Zone Warfare, at least not in its current state.

Netflix’s new supernatural fantasy series with a near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score is climbing up the streaming charts

Dead Boy Detectives, a wonderfully dark and quirky spin-off series of The Sandman, is climbing the Netflix streaming charts.

The supernatural fantasy premiered on April 25 and is now no. 3 on the Netflix Global Top 10, sitting right behind true crime dramas The Asunta Case and Baby Reindeer.

Dead Boy Detectives, based on the comic book characters by Neil Gaiman and Matt Wagner, stars Jayden Revri and George Rexstrew as Charles and Edward, two dead best friends who stay on earth to solve paranormal mysteries that help ghosts move on to the afterlife. The cast includes Kassius Nelson as their psychic friend Crystal Palace, Yuyu Kitamura as Crystal's bubbly flatmate Niko, Jenn Lyon as resident wicked witch Esther Finch, Briana Cuoco as Jenny the Butcher, Lukas Gage as Thomas the Cat King.

The show initially debuted with a Rotten Tomatoes Critic score of 81% before jumping to 91%. The audience score currently sits at 84%. One critic called it a "charming, queer, and wildly fun teen supernatural detective dramedy," with another writing that it "captures the Young Adult angst we’ve been missing from television." Our own review calls the show a "deeply moving exploration of loss, grief, sexuality, and love that will break your heart and mend it over and over again."

Dead Boy Detectives season 1 is streaming now on Netflix. For more, check our list of the best new TV shows coming your way in 2024 and beyond, or, check out our guide to the best Netflix shows to stream right now.

Dungeons of Hinterberg release date, platforms, and trailers

character in dungeons of hinterberg

In Dungeons of Hinterberg, players set out on a journey into a vast open world filled with monstrous beasts to hunt and dozens of dungeons to delve through.

Once you've settled into Dungeons of Hinterberg, you'll be exploring, puzzle solving, battling with massive creatures, and exploring a massive open world that's not only beautiful but engaging to traverse, too. The game uses a stunning cel-shaded art style that I love and keeps things interesting by introducing new mechanics for almost everything you'll be doing as time goes by. Best of all, it's out in 2024.

When is the release date for Dungeons of Hinterberg?

The release date for Dungeons of Hinterberg is July 18, 2024. This puts the game right at the start of summer, the perfect time to download it and dive into it as school winds down and the family gets ready for a more relaxing few weeks at home or on holiday.

All platforms that Dungeons of Hinterberg will be available for

Dungeons of Hinterberg will be available on PC and Xbox Series X/S. At the time of writing, there's no word of the game coming to PS5 or Nintendo Switch. If that changes, I'll update this section of the article and include release dates so everyone knows where they can play.

Will Dungeons of Hinterberg be on Game Pass?

Yes, Dungeons of Hinterberg will be available on Game Pass for PC and Xbox on the day of its release. This means subscribers can download it and play at no extra charge. As has been the case with most Game Pass titles, you'll also likely be able to preload the game ahead of tis release so you can play even faster on the day.

How to sign up for the Dungeons of Hinterberg playtest

To sign up for the Dungeons of Hinterberg playtest, visit the game's Steam page and click on the Request Access button to ensure you're registered. Note that this doesn't guarantee you access to the playtest. But it does give you the chance to play the first two days of the game's story alongside those who participate.

Who is the protagonist in Dungeons of Hinterberg?

The protagonist in Dungeons of Hinterberg is Luisa. She's described as a burnt-out law trainee, clearly deep in the process of becoming a lawyer. However, in the game, she's taking a break from her busy life working with various corporations so she can conquer the Dungeons of Hinterberg. It's a new path for her, but one that could be incredibly rewarding if she manages to stick it out and explore every dungeon and master every colossal monster she encounters.

How to search produce boxes in Fortnite

Fortnite search produce box

Fortnite seasonal events and weekly quests often introduce objectives relating to items you can find around the map, with produce boxes being recurring examples. While produce boxes regularly return as a quest task, it's challenging to spot them, especially if you don't actively look for them.

Where to find produce boxes in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 2

Produce boxes spawn all around the Fortnite map, with the named locations below having the most:

  • Snooty Steppes
  • Pleasant Piazza
  • Reckless Railways

All three locations have numerous produce boxes scattered around, allowing you to find them easily without much issue. More often than not, you'll accidentally stumble into boxes here even when you're not intending to. However, if you're not able to reach these locations, you can also find some in the following spots:

  • Brawler's Battlegrounds
  • Fencing Fields
  • Grim Gate
  • Grand Glacier

Once you reach one of these locations, you'll want to look for a small cardboard box with a picture of vegetables on its side. Upon hovering over the box, it'll appear as a produce box, letting you know you've found what you're looking for.

After opening it, you'll find items such as cabbages, corn, and shield mushrooms, which you can eat to restore some health and shields. Although these items aren't the most reliable compared to medkits and shield drinks, they can save you in a pinch if you're early in the match or have no other options. Just watch for other players, as you may spot some people looking for produce boxes or completing other quests while exploring the map.
