Hades 2 just recently passed its one-year milestone in early access. The sequel to Supergiant's hit game, Hades 2 is a very different game in 2025 than when it launched. Early access is a period where players get to try a limited version of the game while the developer still works on it with content updates and bug fixes. Early access is typically smaller than the full release of a game, but much bigger than a demo. Players often purchase the early access version of a game with the full understanding that it's not finished.

Apparently the PvE overland, Hagga Basin, is too big to explore in a single weekend, according to a beta weekend stats post by the Funcom team.
