In Mickey Mouse Clubhouse season 1, the Halloween episode “Mickey’s Treat” sees the gang race to Pete’s house for his annual Halloween party. Mickey and Minnie dress up as a magician and a witch. Donald Duck is a cowboy. And Goofy cosplays as “Sir Goofy,” a brave knight… wielding a metal garbage can lid as a shield.

Any war effort’s first port of call is finding those willing to take up arms for the cause. Well, Bulkhead’s ambitions to make a multiplayer shooter that brings the battlefield’s utter mayhem and chaos to your fingertips with WARDOGS has garnered one million wishlists, which is a strong start to its journey.

If you haven’t been paying attention to this one, it’s a large-scale shooter that puts a hundred players on a map full of possibilities as you engage in 50v50 battles. The goal is to make them look and feel quite authentic, thanks to the developers sparing no effort to make the game run as smoothly as possible, regardless of your hardware. In a video that was bold enough to tell us reasons why we might not like what its early access had to offer, the studio has outlined that the release build is only the first milestone in the journey to 1.0 that could take a while, with pricing increasing as more content is added to the game.

However, you’re given a generous discount for getting in early, and it might just be worth it if the showcase from last month is any indication. The team behind it has put out a message of thanks for the milestone, and we’re hoping for good things on the road ahead. Early access kicks off on September 10th for PC, so stay tuned for more updates.

An Ahsoka season 2 display at D23 has given away some fascinating hints about what might be to come in the second season of the Star Wars show.

GamesRadar+ is on the ground at this year's D23, which means we got to explore the Ahsoka display for ourselves. The main point of excitement is the costumes on display: as you can see in the post below, both Anakin Skywalker and a younger Ahsoka Tano have new outfits for season 2, suggesting we might see the return of Ariana Greenblatt as Padawan-era Snips.

They're both dressed in cold weather gear, intriguingly – though whether that means a flashback to the snowy events of season 1 episode 'Trespass' or a new scenario remains to be seen.

Some concept art is also on display, which reveals the return of Morai after the bird's appearance in season 1. Morai is a convor that watches over Ahsoka, associated with the Daughter Force god from the Mortis arc of Clone Wars. Put simply, the Daughter is a personification of the light side of the Force, and she sacrificed herself to resurrect Ahsoka during the events of that arc (read more in our World Between Worlds explainer). In one piece of art, the convor can be seen observing Ahsoka and Sabine Wren on Peridea.

Also seen in the artwork is Huyang wielding multiple lightsabers and going up against Shin Hati, as well as Grand Admiral Thrawn looking at a map on his ship, the Nightsisters of Dathomir using what look to be energy bows, and the return of Enoch the mysterious gold-masked stormtrooper wielding a green lightsaber.

At the convention, Ezra Bridger actor Eman Esfandi also shared more about the upcoming second season.

"There's going to be more lightsabers. A lot more lightsaber action. There's going to be some space battles, some space action, and there's going to be witches, and swords, and explosions galore," he teased. "It's going to be really fun, really fast-paced, and we may or may not hear something about that a little later today. So, stay tuned here at D23 for Ahsoka season 2."

Where to watch the D23 2026 Disney Entertainment Showcase

With just a few hours to go until it begins, you might be wondering where you can livestream the D23 2026 Disney Entertainment Showcase panel. Sadly, you can't as, much like Marvel SDCC 2026 panel, the Showcase won't be made available online, so you need to be in the room to know exactly what's going down.

As with San Diego Comic-Con, we do expect some materials to make their way online; don't be surprised to see a trailer drop or two. But for now, the best way to stay in the know is to follow our live coverage below.

As far as superheroes go, Wolverine is often considered to be one of the more violent characters when compared to other mainstream comics. Since his main abilities revolve around his use of retractable adamantium claws and the ability to regenerate from massive amounts of damage, Wolverine’s comics can often have their fair share of violence. However, with Marvel’s Wolverine, Insomniac Games doesn’t want to make squeamish players feel left out.

In an interview with GamesRadar, the studio spoke about wanting to make sure that players who don’t like seeing blood, gore, and dismemberment in their games won’t have to. “Yes, we are making a Wolverine game. Yes, it is extremely bloody. But we also understand that not everybody has the same level of squeamishness when it comes to blood. So, we have settings where you can disable blood, disable gore, disable [dismemberment],” said creative director Marcus Smith.

Head of technology Mike Fitzgerald noted that offering the option of disabling gore was quite challenging, since there is “a very complex set of systems” at play in the game when it comes to displaying gore.

“The way it affects characters is one thing. The way it affects environments is another thing. The way it sprays out of the characters is another thing. A lot of cinematics have custom-authored blood that’s independent [to what] someone very carefully painted onto a character or object. Finding all those places, making them all relate into the accessibility system the right way, took quite a bit of work, effort, and testing.”

He went on to note that, since people have “a real reaction to that stuff,” the team has ensured that edge cases are also taken into account. “We don’t want to surprise anyone with it when they think they have it turned off.”

Senior project director Jess Reiner-Reed notes that, while “Wolverine is a brutal character,” his stories never tend to glorify violence. Rather, the character always has more noble goals, even if that means that his enemies need to be cut down.

“That’s a part of the DNA of Wolverine. It is rated mature as far as topics, and as you mentioned, as far as violence, but Logan is not somebody who is ever glorifying violence. He’s not cutting up people for violence’s sake. He’s doing it because he got into some situation. He has to defend somebody who can’t defend themselves. He has to fight [against] injustice.”

Marvel’s Wolverine is being developed for PS5, and is slated for release on September 15th. Smith has previously spoken on a variety of subjects when it comes to the game, including the fact that it won’t be an origin story. “He does not remember how that happened, why it happened, and we are not really covering it because we’re not doing an origin story,” he explained.

Reiner-Reed has also confirmed that, while the whole game will be available on the disc for the physical release, the studio wants to encourage players to at least download the day-one patch.
